Stavros is committed to continual learning and growth as an actor, regularly attending workshops and classes to hone his skills. He is also passionate about using his platform as an actor to advocate for mental health awareness and support. Stavros has a BA in Human Movement (1991) where he studied Drama, Alexander technique, Play Theory, Performance Dance, Creative Movement, Photography and Film. He has since trained and gained high-competency in other performance techniques, including; Stanislavsky, Meisner, Moss, LeCoq, The Method, Viewpoints and many more. Throughout his career, he has amassed an impressive resume, with stage and screen credits including; Neil Simon’s Rumors (2011), Caryl Churchill’s A Mouthful Full of Birds (2015), Lene Therese Teigen's Falling Apples (2016), Underbelly Files - Chopper (2017), and feature film Promised (2019). In addition to his acting career, Stavros is also a dedicated yoga practitioner and is deeply interested in holistic health and wellness. He believes in a balanced lifestyle that nurtures the body, mind, and spirit. Moving forward, Stavros is excited to take on new and challenging roles both on stage and screen. He is committed to bringing depth and authenticity to his performances and is always seeking out opportunities to collaborate with other talented artists.
