Mark has recently returned from growing his body of work in NYC. Whilst in the USA, Mark has worked on 3 national TVC's, an Off Broadway production, and various staged rehearsed play readings, developments, and Opera's. Mark also narrates long form short fiction for Spineless Wonders, Australia: https://soundcloud.com/mark-dessaix Whilst in NY, Mark has spent time honing his skills with the Linklater Voice Centre; and has worked closely with the legendary Karen Kholhaas of the Atlantic Theatre on regular scene study, monologue study, and a very deep dive in to the works of Tennessee Williams where, in January 2020, he played Brick in scenes from Cat On A Hot Tin Roof in the Cutrer Mansion in Clarksdale, Miss. which was Mr Williams' inspiration for the house in the play. It was also during this week that Mark had the pleasure of playing Lloyd in a new workshopping of Reckless by Pulitzer and Tony nominated playwright Craig Lucas, directed by Mr Lucas himself. Mark is from Sydney, Australia and has a US Green Card.
