Union Membership Actors Equity Australia, AFTRA, SAG Brian, over the last few years, has been highly successful internationally as an actor, writer, director and TV host.. He's also been in demand as one of the top speaking motivators on the USA.speaker's circuit. Australian born, Brian Adams started his professional career as an advertising agency copywriter in Sydney, then toured the world as a freelance journalist. After working in London, he migrated to Canada where he started his own newspaper chain. This was the beginning of a successful publishing company, which he sold six years later before moving to the USA. He studied at New York University's TV-Film Production School, graduating as one of the top students. Brian then moved to Hollywood where he produced and directed the syndicated Starlight Mystery Theatre series, as well as the Los Angeles stage production of See How They Run. Brian was selected by CBS in Hollywood to host a daytime TV Talk Show,. Adams At Noon, a provocative program where Brian interviewed internationally famous public figures, politician, authors, TV, film stars.and show business personalities. When his CBS contract expired, he was brought to Sydney to host the hard hitting tonight program, In Town Tonight. It became a ratings winner for Sydney's newest commercial TV station, Channel 10. It was Sydney's most talked about TV show, drawing an avalanche of national and international press comment. Brian Adams was named "The best, most incisive interviewer on Australian television" along with "Australia's most controversial and toughest talk show hos"t. He had such an impact on Australian audiences, even today the mention of his name, provokes an instant recalled reaction: " I disliked his views. but I had to watch him".. Following his TV show he was engaged by 2SM radio to host it's evening talk-back show. and then later back to TV to replace Mike Walsh at Channel 10 in Adams Afternoon. and later, an Aussie and internationally syndicated TV show, Around The World With Brian Adams. As an actor he had a featured role in Hawaii Five-O and has had leading roles in: A Country Practice, Sons & Daughters, The Sullivans, Cop Shop, Matlock Police, Division 4, Timelapse, Lancaster Miller Affair, Murder Call, Earth Force, Homicide, Young Doctors, Time Trax, Number 96, The Box, Delta, Sporting Chance, The Restless Years. Name it, he's been in it. And in feature films Shotgun Wedding, Luigi's Women, The Howling 111, Les Paterson Saves The World, Death of A Soldier, Brothers, Razorback, Phar Lap, Return of Captain Invincible, Roadhouse, Sherlock Holmes Valley of Fear, Sherlock Holmes A Study In Scarlet etc. The acting credits are endless. endless
