Notes

Rebecca Vincent is an Australian-Malaysian multidisciplinary creator and performer, of Indian and Chinese heritage. In addition to her acting, screenwriting, and filmmaking studies at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), she holds a Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science) from the University of Melbourne and trained with the Improv Conspiracy and Impro Melbourne in sketch writing and improvisation. Her theatre credits include ‘She Kills Monsters’ (dir. Joe Paradise Lui), ‘New Labour’ (dir. Alice Qin), and ‘The Wolves’ (dir. Marcel Dorney). Her screen credits include ‘Sorry Sorry’ (dir. Ella Crowley) and ‘Hot Chocolate’ (dir. Chiara Oates). She has written, produced, directed, and performed in films of her own, including ‘Daniel and the Radcliffes’ in 2022 and ‘Only Ten’ in 2023. Being fluent in Mandarin and Malay, Rebecca enjoys collaboration with diverse artists both locally and internationally and strives to amalgamate a variety of techniques and styles to create a unique storytelling voice. She recently filmed a brand video with Vidico.
