Gene is a screen and stage actor, born and based and Melbourne. Proudly represented by Triple Talent Management and trained by Howard Fine Acting Studio, Gene has recently landed lead roles for Melbourne Fringe/Comedy festival, pilot TV show, and commercial. This has allowed him to express his range, from dry (Necrophilia) and expressive comedic roles (Dabble), to deeply sincere and weighted roles (Hive, Holding The Man). Gene has long studied the complexities of the human condition, leading him to practice as a Clinical Psychologist, before formally transitioning to his true passion and talent as an actor. Being pushed theatrically in improv comedy through training and performing at The Improv Conspiracy has meant that Gene has grown significantly as an actor.
