Notes
Ethan Liboiron has been acting since childhood, with full-time performing experience of a decade at Australia's Dreamworld. This incorporated multiple daily shows of contemporary and period (1950's & 60's rock) singing, presenter work, character acting, suit work, and improvisational acting. Ethan has also enjoyed great success in the Gold Coast-area Community Musical Theatre scene, with his first return to stage after a brief hiatus landing him the 2016 Best Actor in a Leading Role in a Community Theatre Musical for his performance of J. Pierrepont Finch in Gold Coast Little Theatres' 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying'.
Liboiron has training across a multitude of disciplines, beginning with Speech and Drama through school culminating in a Distinction of Grade 6 of the Trinity S&D Exams. From there, Ethan has explored a Bachelor's Degree in Acting - Fine Arts at Queensland University of Technology, which incorporated stage combat and singing, among other performance techniques. Ethan also has unaccredited training in clowning, scaring and other improvisational acting and performance through his experience at Dreamworld.
Ethan Liboiron's most recent work includes Javeenbah Theatre's 2019 production of 'Blood Brothers', performing as a lead 'Mickey'. Notably, Ethan performed the 'Scouse' accent well enough to fool native Liverpoolers, and tackled the wide range of emotion from a child to a mal-adjusted young adult to rave reviews. Also in 2019, Liboiron performed as a non-speaking extra in the 1Cover Travel Insurance advertisement campaign, as well as more extra and tech work (sound and lighting; filming; bit parts) for Ad Astra's 'The Things We Do Behind The Scenes'.
Overall, Ethan is a creative, with experience in video and sound editing, music production and creation, and live and filmed performance. Being that he is inherently musical, Ethan also boasts the ability to play guitar and piano, but more at the beginner level compared to his singing abilities. Ethan also enjoys gaming (both tabletop, like Dungeons and Dragons, as well as digital), reading and hiking.
