She has extensive international performance experience, which includes working in the Bollywood industry performing in Music Videos, TV Shows, Feature films as well as global awards shows. Here in Australia, Shelley has also worked in various feature films, stage productions, music videos, short films and documentaries. Shelley shares her enthusiasm for film with her love of the stage, featuring in plays such as Butterflies Are Free, Popping Lead Balloons, Not Now Darling and It Came from the Couch as well as musicals including Chicago, Cabaret, The Producers and Pajama Game to name a few. In highly successful cabaret productions with Oscar Theatre Company, Shelley performed in numerous numbers, including as an aerialist. Venturing on a performance tour to New York, Shelley attended classes at Broadway Dance Centre as well as various acting and improvisation workshops led by cast in the Broadway production of Chicago. In 2011, Shelley graduated the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Drama and a second major in Dance. She has trained in NIDA’s screen acting intensive, taken directing workshops and TV Screenshot audition courses. Over the years, Shelley has been performing entertaining and educational children’s shows, travelling throughout Queensland and New South Wales with various companies. Shelley has taught the acting component of musical theatre classes for many years, also teaching at a prestigious Performing Arts School in Singapore. Shelley has since taken time out from the industry to raise a family and is excited to be back doing what she loves.
