Raven Rogers-Wright (she/her) grew up in Naarm/Melbourne, is of English and Sierra Leonean heritage, and has a red belt in karate. Her recent theatre credits include ‘The Wilde Kind’ at the 2023 Midsumma Festival (dir. Sabina Donato). As a member of the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting) graduating class of 2023, Raven has performed as; Cynthia in Lynn Nortage's ‘Sweat’ (dir. Tasnim Hussein), ‘Palace of illusions’ (dir. Sonya Suares), ‘Hibernation’ (dir. John Marc Desengano), Trofimov in ‘The Cherry Orchard’ (dir. Keith Brockett). She also performed in ‘Nina Simone: Black Diva Power’ (dir. Warren Wills) by Neil Cole, both at Chapel off Chapel in Melbourne and at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival in 2015. Raven is attuned to the stories of her local community, and believes in the importance of them being heard and shared. She also has a deep passion and commitment to making theatre accessible to all communities.
