Simon Mead has been working professionally since he was 13 years old, in which time he has amassed a large profile as one of New Zealand's most consistent working actors of his age. Simon has starred locally in shows such as NOTHING TRIVIAL, HILLARY, THE DANCE EXPONENTS – WHY DOES LOVE?, WESTSIDE and 3 seasons of THE CUL DE SAC. Simon’s international presence has grown with supporting and lead roles in Blumhouse Pictures BLACK CHRISTMAS and three seasons of UNDER THE VINES starring alongside Rebecca Gibney and Charles Edwards. His role as Billy in both seasons of GOLDEN BOY (created by Alice Sneddon and starring alongside Rose Matafeo) introduced his emergence to the comedy scene, showcasing his comedic timing and demonstrating he could do both dramatic and comedic roles with great ability. Most recently, Simon wrapped a supporting role in Irish/NZ crime thriller THE GONE, and the third season of UNDER THE VINES. Simon is based in LA.
