Nathalie Boltt burst onto screens in 2017 as supervillain ‘Penelope Blossom’ in hit series RIVERDALE. Rotten Tomatoes awarded her character “Worst Mother… but the most watchable”, and Nathalie went on to star in all seven seasons, and direct in season five.
Prior to RIVERDALE, Nathalie was already known to international audiences for her role as sociologist ‘Sarah Livingstone’ in the Golden Globe-winning box-office smash DISTRICT 9. She also played the lead in her native South Africa’s longest-running drama series THE NEED (ISIDINGO). Other highlights include Netflix adaptation THE CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA, BBC’s INSPECTOR GEORGE GENTLY, CBS comedy HAPPY TOGETHER and action-thriller 24 HOURS TO LIVE with Ethan Hawke. Her credits reflect both her dramatic and comedic talent, and ease with a wide range of accents thanks to her multilingual, multinational background.
Nathalie is also an award-winning writer and director, making her debut with arthouse short film THE SILK, then feminist revenge spoof VAJAZZLE, cult webseries DROPPED PIE and gangster comedy A.T.A.C.K. Her directorial feature debut HOLY DAYS, and zombie horror SWEET CHILD OF MINE are set for release in 2023.
As a voice artist and audiobook narrator, Nathalie has extensive international experience and has been submitted for both an Audie Award and a Grammy Award. She has a personal home studio for quality audio recordings.
Nathalie is an acting coach and works with students of all experience levels form ages 8 to Adult.
