Dannnyt Matier has worked within many facets of the arts industry; as an actor, writer, director, production assistant and rt department. After training at the The Actors Conservatory in Brisbane he spent time as a staff writer and production assistant on London feature films and series. Dan has written and directed a number of short films that have been screened internationally at film festivals. He also directed the short "You Used to Bring me Flowers" that was the opening film in the 50 Kisses feature and most recently "The Dreamers."
"Punishment" produced in 2007 was Dan's first feature film as the writer and director. It makes the statement that revenge makes of you the monster you wish to kill.
