Notes

Born and educated in the Manawatu, Arthur Ranford is an actor and musician who has worked for all of New Zealand's professional theatre companies. He has travelled widely, in New Zealand and overseas, with both commercial and fringe theatre productions. He has made appearances in NZ Radio, TV and films, and has often performed for children. He has worked theatrically with masks, stilts, clowning, puppetry and music. The violin has been a lifelong love and he continues to explore various styles of playing and performing, from classical to traditional Irish fiddling. He had narrated books and magazines for RNZFB since 1988.
