2019 UPDATE Sally is currently the Creator/Director/Producer (and cast member) of the multi award-winning web series, Shakespeare Republic, also starring Nadine Garner, Alan Fletcher, Michala Banas, Christopher Kirby, Dean Haglund and more. The series has now been officially selected for over 80 international web and film festivals, been nominated over 70 times and won 29 awards from around the globe, including the prestigious CINE Golden Eagle Award (USA) for Best Digital Series alongside winners from National Geographic Channel, Oprah Network and Variety Online. In 2017, the Shakespeare short film Speaking Daggers was commissioned by Independent Schools Victoria with Sally as Director/Writer/Producer and also playing "Beatrice" opposite fellow cast Nadine Garner, Michala Banas, Christopher Kirby and Scott Major. The short went on to make it's film festival premiere as an official selection for the 2017 Shakespeare Film Festival run by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust in Stratford-upon-Avon in the UK. President of the Jury, Sir Kenneth Branagh, awarded "Speaking Daggers" with a “Highly Commended” Finalist status and selected it to screen as part of their Filming Shakespeare: Crossing Borders showcase. Since then, the film has won "Best Short Film" at the Peak City International Film Festival and Berlin International Cinefest and made it’s Australian Film Festival premiere as an official selection for the Academy Award accredited St Kilda Film Festival in 2018. The film continues it's festival run and has now been officially selected and/or nominated at 21 international film festivals to date. Sally is also a member of the Howard Fine Acting Studio Faculty (teaching Shakespeare), and on the HFAS Board of Trustees.
