PROUD MEMBER OF MEAA SINCE 2006 Won MEAA Best Comedy Ensemble - The Family Law S3 - 2020 Finalist 2018 Heath Ledger Scholarship - Australians in Film Nominated Best Young Actor St Kilda Film Festival 2018 - MWAH Won MEAA Best Comedy Ensemble - The Family Law S2 - 2018 Nominated Best Actress: Film Critics Circle of Australia Awards 2017 - Girl Asleep Nominated Best Actress: Australian Film Critics Association Awards 2017 - Girl Asleep Won MEAA Best Comedy Ensemble - The Family Law S1 - 2017 Won 16th Street Young Actors Scholarship 2017 In 2018 Bethany worked on the final season of The Family Law, taking a more prominent role in S3 following her comedic portrayal of Melissa Hills in series 1 & 2. The Family Law is a comedy series for SBS TV penned by author Benjamin Law and produced by NBC Universal & Matchbox Pictures. Bethany also recently filmed the support role of Blanche Gifford in the much anticipated Fremantle Media remake of Picnic at Hanging Rock. She played the leading role of Greta Driscoll in the award-winning feature film Girl Asleep, an adaptation of the stage play of the same name, which showed in theatres around the world. Artistic Director of Adelaide’s prestigious Windmill Theatre Company, Rosemary Myers, directed this avant-garde piece for the screen.  Bethany was nominated for Best Actress for her emotional portrayal of Greta by the Film Critics Circle of Australia Award and the Australian Film Critics Association in 2017. Bethany’s feature film debut came with PJ Hogan’s Mental, opposite Toni Collette, Anthony LaPaglia, Liev Schreiber and Rebecca Gibney. At only six years old, she scored the role of Jaden in the US miniseries The Starter Wife, playing Debra Messing’s daughter. Following on from this, she voiced the eight-year-old Mary Daisy Dinkle in Mary and Max the animated feature film from Oscar-winning director Adam Elliot. Mary and Max debuted as the opening film at the Sundance Film Festival in. Bethany’s other screen credits include the award-winning shorts, MWAH, Blackwood, and; The Sound of A(US), Rush, Rove Live, Thank God You’re Here, Winners and Losers and a recurring role in Killing Time, opposite David Wenham. Bethany has studied drama at Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, 16th Street, NIDA and St Martins Youth Theatre.  She has appeared in several short films and theatre productions, most notably Cat on a Hot Tin Roof for the Melbourne Theatre Company, INKY for Complete Works Theatre Company and At The Hand Of My Mother for the Ward Acting Studio - New York.
