Teisha comes from a lineage of Ukrainian and German refugees, raised in Australia, Teisha was a successful dancer and model before transitioning to acting. She has worked on national TV commercials and many short films. Her latest short film Habitat, which she also produced, has been a festival hit, playing at 27 international film festivals and gaining numerous award nominations. For her performance, Teisha won Best Actress award at the Venice Film Awards, Berlin Indie Film Festival, Stockholm City Film festival, Berlin Short Film Festival, Boden International Film Festival, New York Independent Cinema Awards and the 8 & HalFilm Awards Rome. Teisha holds a European working visa, and is based between Sydney, Australia and Hamburg, Germany.
