Ashley Jones’ performance is alive with subtle shifts and strategies. His is one of the most realistically repellent characters I’ve seen on stage in some time.

‘Paper Doll’ by Katy Warner – Old Fitz Theatre review by Joy Minter
Ashley Jones in his terrific performance swoops between repellent, powerful and controlling and drawing our compassion.
Performing Arts Hub - LYNNE LANCASTER
The atmosphere of menace that pervades PAPER DOLL playing at the Old Fitz Theatre is entirely repellent … and engrossing. This is 40 minutes of required viewing. Required viewing because it is one of those rare events when stars align.
Extraordinary cast, Martin Ashley Jones is the man in this two-hander and Lucy Goleby is the woman. They are a stellar pairing.
PAPER DOLL is next level thinking, this is advanced citizenship. This is required theatre-going.
