Notes
Amanda is a multidisciplinary actress, voice actor, painter, and photographer.
Her onscreen career took off nearly twenty years ago playing 'Sarah Potts' on New Zealand's iconic serial hospital drama SHORTLAND STREET. Quickly winning the hearts of viewers, Amanda played 'Sarah' for ten years, using her time in between storylines to hone her craft on stage as well as screen. A powerful theatre actress, Amanda has since starred in numerous plays and musicals, including an international tour with the acclaimed Pop-Up Globe as 'Lady Macbeth'.
Notable screen credits include MINECRAFT (Warner Bros), UNDER THE VINES (Acorn TV), THE ROYAL TREATMENT (Netflix) and two seasons of the critically-acclaimed comedy series KID SISTER starring as South African-Jewish matriarch 'Keren Emanuel'.
Amanda’s artwork can be found on her website, www.amandabilling.co.nz, including work from her recent artist residency and first solo exhibition.
