With a passion for comedy and a knack for performing, Stevo Petkovic is an experienced Actor, Comedian, AWGIE Nominated Television Writer and star of the ABC sketch comedy "This is Littleton".
Inspired by chameleon-like actors such as Steve Coogan, Shaun Micallef and Eddie Murphy, Stevo spent his Uni years fine tuning his acting craft by cutting his teeth on a series of successful comedy shorts he created and performed in which eventually led to his first TV writing gig as part of the freelance team for Channel Nine's popular sketch show "Comedy Inc: The Late Shift".
After a short hosting stint on the Television Sydney (TVS) light-entertainment programme "The Student Movie Show" in 2006, Stevo was selected to create and star in his own pilot comedy segment on the Adam Boland produced late-night, Channel 7 programme "The Nightcap".
After his first ever attempt, Stevo made the 2011 Tropfest Finals starring in and co-creating the dark comedy film "A Family Affair". His creepy but hilarious portrayal of "Malcolm", a Scottish sex-fiend, caught the attention of ABC TV's Head of Comedy and led to the development of Stevo and long-time comedic partner in crime, Melinda Cklamovska, to develop their own ABC sketch comedy Pilot, "Love.Sick".
Stevo continued to raise the comedic stakes in 2013 when he created and starred as the sleazy but gormless American Televangelist, "Pastor John Wilcox", in his very own ABC Christmas Special "Xmas Quickies with Stevo & Mel".
In 2014, Stevo received his big break, starring in the ABC sketch comedy show "This is Littleton". Produced by High Wire Films, the AWGIE-Nominated comedy allowed the ideal platform for Stevo to showcase his talent by writing and starring as several main recurring characters including a Rose Porteous inspired Filipino billionaire house keeper called "Angel", a violent, short tempered Balkan migrant called "Branko" and he even reprised his popular role as the Scottish sex-fiend "Malcolm" amongst many other original creations across the four episodes.
Following the success of his work on "This is Littleton", Stevo would once again team up with Melinda Cklamovska to co-create and star as multiple characters in all three episodes of their own comedy project, the cheeky, character-driven comedy "#COUPLES" as part of the hugely popular ABC iView "Freshblood" programme.
Through his natural gift of comedy, combined with his passion and talent for writing and creating original content, Stevo Petkovic has shown he is an exceptional actor, making him one of Australia’s must watch talents.
