My name is Dwayne Kyle and I am originally from Otaki and am currently residing in Auckland. I have completed three years of study at Whitireia in Wellington obtaining my Bachelor of Applied Arts, Performing Arts, top of my class with an A average.
I've had a lot of experience in theatre throughout my life, with one highlight being a show I wrote, directed and acted in at the Whitireia Theatre, in their October performance in 2012.
In regards to screen acting, I have had in-class training with Cohan Holloway, and a private scree lesson with Miranda Harcourt, along with two weeks as an action-extra on the TV Series Spartacus. As well as this I have also completed a work opportunity with Catch Casting where I worked alongside Stu Turner and Joe Fisher for a two week spell.
A highlight of my acting career so far is a short film I was involved in called 'Thinker' which was accepted into 14 different international film festivals including the "London International Film Festival" and coming in third place at the "Armageddon International Film Festival".
Currently, to keep my craft active and try and make a name for myself in this industry I am working on several of my own projects, one of which is a short film which is currently in post production
