MOVIE NIGHT is a self produced short film which has been selected for the UNSCENE FILM FESTIVAL (AUST) 2018 BIO Juan Fernando Monge is a Colombian-Australian actor. He is a graduate of 16th Street Actors Studio's Part Time Program and has studied with teachers such as Patsy Rodenburg, Carol Rosenfeld, Justin Lehmann and the late Elizabeth Kemp, as well as with accomplished directors Paul Currie, Jason Raftopolous and Iain Sinclair. He has been cast across film, television and theatre, including Bloody Hell (Eclektic Vision), La Brea (NBC), Clickbait (Netflix/Matchbox Productions), The Invisibles (Beyond Productions), and Extinction (Tierney Productions), as well as in numerous national commercials. He was most recently in A Royal in Paradise (The Steve Jaggi Company) and in Hearth Theatre's acclaimed production of Death of a Salesman. Juan is also a producer and filmmaker, working both independently and closely with Aristeia Entertainment & Mad Hatter Films. His behind-the-scenes credits include Friends of Mine (2021), Kharon (2021), Dia de Gata(2020) and Movie Night (2018). Having lived in Colombia until he was five, Juan is fluent in Spanish, and is also intermediate in Italian. Juan also works as a Captains Coach for the Starlight Children’s Foundation entertaining patients in a pediatric hospital.
