Born an raised in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne Victoria, Billy completed his VCE education at Lighthouse Chrisitan College where he also discovered his love for the performing arts. In early 2012 Billy joined his first school production 'Bugsy Malone' playing the roles of 'Baby Face', 'Chinese Laundry guy', and the 'Down and outs'.
While juggling through productions and classes, Billy undertook after-school activities. Joining and creating a dance crew that went under the name of 'Replay dance production'. Along with his members, Billy competed in dance competitions such as 'Fired up' and 'Battlegrounds', as well as performed locally in his school talent shows called 'LCC Gala night'.
Completing his VCE in 2015, Billy wanted to pursue a career in Film and television. However due to the lack of job opportunities in Australia and low demand for Asian-Australian actors. He cast his dreams aside and pursued a career in digital animation at the Swinburne University of Technology, later transferring into Business Marketing at RMIT University in 2018.
After the recent blockbuster all Asian cast 'Crazy Rich Asians' movie. Billys passion for acting once again reignited, he deferred his studies in order to further enhance his old skills. Joining a workshop at 'Film and Television Studios International' in 2018, learning the standard US accent at 'Brave studios', and currently further enhancing his skills through uta Hagens acting method at 'Howard Fine Acting Studios'.
During the Mid-year of 2019, Billy received his first-ever professional credit in the feature film, directed by Isaac Elliot 'The Legend of Burnout Barry'.
