Mikaela is an Australian Actor of mixed raced heritage she is a quarter Chinese, Scottish and Irish. She has worked on a variety of productions as an actor, singer and writer. A graduate of the University of Technology with a Bachelors in Fashion Design and Textiles. She has trained for several years with the Royal Academy of Dance. She has completed a variety of short courses at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts, developing a range of essential performance skills. She is currently a student of acting coach Felicity Jurd. She has contributed to her performances as a writer for Salt ( The house that Dan Built) and Muse ( The revolt). She was also Head Costume design for Backstages production of Hairspray, Directed by Jake Bayssari.
Mikaela starred as Eliza Doolittle, in Joanna Joy’s Pygmalion for UTS Backstage. Her quirky character won her a place in the “Best of 2015” list by well respected theatre reviewer Suzy Goes Sees.
