Marsha Vassilevskaia was born in Vladivostok, Russia but relocated to Melbourne at the age of 7 where she grew up. Standing at 5’8, Marsha started modelling at 17 which eventually lead her to TVC work and finally TV and Film. She joined a Russian Theatre group and studied Stanislavski while also undertaking acting classes with Kim Krejus.
She eventually moved to LA in 2013 to Study at the prestigious Stella Adler Academy. She starred as Zoya in the Australian Theatre Companies ‘Ruben Guthrie’ and shortly after, signed with Luber Roklin in LA, Marsha scored a role in Movie 43 directed by the Farrelly Brothers who are responsible for some of the highest grossing comedies such as ‘There’s Something About Mary’ and ‘Shallow Hal’. Movie 43 boasted a long list of Hollywood’s best actors including Kate Winslet, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry and Emma Stone. She then booked a 3 day commercial for P&O Cruise Ships along side Owen Wilson.
In 2017, Marsha signed with The Characters Agency and moved to Vancouver, Canada. This journey then took her to the U.K. where she worked on a feature film for 3 months before returning back to Vancouver. Marsha moved back to LA in 2019 where she continued acting and also started producing short and feature films.
In March 2020, Marsha returned to Melbourne to make a documentary about the arts and entertainment industry and how it was impacted by COVID pandemic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dP7Js081p00
She then booked a role playing Vince Colosimo’s wife in Wog Boys Forever which was the second highest grossing Australian film in 2022. Marsha has locally trained at 16thSt in Melbourne and NIDA. She has experience in MMA (May Thai, Boxing, Jiu Jitsu), plays piano, speaks fluent Russian, surfs, does yoga/pilates and skateboards. Marsha has a broad range of accents under her belt including American (California, Boston, NY, Southern), authentic Australian, Russian, German and Eastern European. Marsha is an Australian Citizen however still holds a Russian Passport which is frequently requested when she auditions for projects in Latvia, Lithuania and Bulgaria.
