Notes

Alexandra is an actor, writer, producer and musician who studied NIDA's Screen Actors Studio in 2014 and graduated from Actors Centre Australia in 2017. In 2018, Alexandra debuted the lead role of 'Poppy' in Katie Pollock's Normal during its Australian premiere at The Old 505, directed by Anthony Skuse. Her screen credits include short films The Passenger, directed by Alex Edmonson, Robber, directed by Reuben Field and Warrior, directed by Simone Thompson. Alexandra has also appeared on SBS's The Feed. In addition, Alexandra produced and starred in the short film Her Own Music, directed by Olivia Aleksoski, which premiered at the 2020 Sydney Film Festival as a finalist in the Dendy Awards for Australian Short Films and had its international debut at OutFest LA 2020. In 2021, Her Own Music was nominated for the My Queer Career awards at Mardi Gras Film Festival, where Alexandra won Best Performance for her leading role in the film. Her Own Music also took home the Audience Choice Award. Alexandra's music also appears in the soundtrack of the film. Alexandra is also the co-creator of the forthcoming web series How To Be Queer, winner of the 2020 Melbourne Queer Film Festival's Pitch Pleez! Competition, with their pilot opening the 2021 edition of the festival and having its international premiere at OutFest LA 2021. In 2020, Alexandra independently released her singles Quiet Australian and Isolation Song online. The world premiere of her solo show Not Today, a song cycle about climate anxiety, debuted at Kings Cross Theatre to rave reviews, with Sydney Morning Herald calling Ally "a younger Tim Minchin". Ally's music also features in the Her Own Music score. Along with How To Be Queer, Ally also has two TV series in development - Not Sure Yet and Girl Crush.
