Notes

I am an experienced actor/director working in the independent and professional sectors. I am a mature artist, and have played a broad range of characters ranging from soft and maternal, to comic, authoritarian and even psychopathic. I am originally from the UK and can handle a variety of regional UK accents. My natural accent is soft neutral English. I have been resident in Australia since 1992. I have extensive experience working with disabled performers as an actor, support performer, facilitator and director. "Stones is a brilliant performer; she possesses a level, dramatic air that can quickly and seamlessly switch to chaotic energy or unsettling eeriness. She fills every inch of the room with her candour and dark wonderings, and the content of the show is extremely thought-provoking, absorbing and uniquely provocative." Lisa Dib, review of The Quiet Bite, http://www.webwombat.com.au/entertain/pages/entertainment/theatre/the-quiet-bite-review.htm “I attended the opening night performance of Purgatorio and was struck by the high caliber of performance and the nature of the script. This was an intensely psychological script performed by two actors at the peak of their practice and was one of the most gripping text-based performances I have seen in a long time.” Jane Crawley, Director Arts Investment, Creative Victoria
