Section 2’ had its premiere at the Monaco International Film Festival, 17-19 November 2023, at which Sophie was awarded “Best Supporting Female Actor” in the short film category.
'Manny and Quinn' has won various awards on the festival circuit, including being selected as one of the Top 5 Best Short Films in the New Zealand International Film Festival (August 2022).
As a singer, Sophie has headlined several concerts around NZ – e.g. Stadium Southland Christmas Variety Show, Christmas shows in Nelson, Marlborough outdoor festival, Ashburton ‘Concert in the Park’. She has also performed in several countries around the world, including Japan, the UK (including the London Palladium), the USA, and Australia (including the Sydney Opera House).
She is also a former lecturer in Law at the University of Oxford.
